It has taken me awhile to sign this...how do you sum up all the grief and memories in just 1000 characters? But first I want to say that the pain I feel is equal or less than the JOY that Daddy Jack gave me. I can still hear his voice in my head; yelling at me. I can still smell the blue bird and the basic cigarette smoke. I can still see his smile...so even though we are sad, Daddy Jack gave us so many memories. My favorite memory with Daddy Jack was the last time we went camping, Staci had just had Syd...and I got waaaay to drunk and crawled in his tent and stole his blankets. From then on I was the "teepee creep'n Navajo"...I love you Jack and I love you Modrell/Nemeth/Harpole family!

Thank you everyone for sharing your kind words and memories. Please know that he had such a wonderful day with us before the accident. He was a loving man and he left nothing unsaid. We know he loved us "deep down in his bones." I am so grateful to have had such a caring, loving, and forgiving father. He shaped me into a woman that is ready to follow the footsteps of his character. Love you Daddy Jack, and for now I guess it's Adios Popa instead of Hola. Just for now.

My condolences to each of the Modrell family. We have many memories of "little Jack" (what everyone called him back when he was a young teenager)watching him grow up. One memory that really stands out was how proud he was when Stacy won the Jr.Miss contest. He was so happy and the joy on his face was such a wonderful thing to see. Our prayers are with the family. I know he will be deeply missed.

Our deepest sympathies to the Modrell family. When we were all growing up together, I remember this little blonde haired boy with so much energy, jumping out of Zelda's car and always yelling "hi", and then going on with his merry little way. I remember spending the nights with Zelda and Jack and a little boy running down the hallway chasing there dog Daisy. Then the next thing I knew, he was a grown man chasing his kids around. Know he is with his loving mother and brother in heaven.

Little Jack was not only my baby brother, he was my best friend. I do not know how I am going to make it,but I know I will somehow. Until I meet with you again, there will still be laughter and tears.I know you are with mom because you made it. I love you and always will.
