Obituary of RuthAnn Kendall

RuthAnn "Ruthie" Kendall gently went to be with our father-the Lord on August 12, 2010 at Benewah County Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 12, 1946 in Temple City, California to George and Billie (Edwards) Kendall. Ruthie grew up in California until 1976 when she moved to Idaho with her family. In 1980 she moved to Santa Creek Road, which is now known as the "Circle in the Glen". She was a mother, companion, grandmother and a loyal friend to many. Ruthie enjoyed drawing, loving her animals and making people smile. She always had little gifts for everyone. Ruthie is survived by longtime companion John Broussard of Santa Creek Road, daughter Evette (Larry)Runyon of Yakima, WA., brother Bob (Shiela) Kendall of St. Maries, ID., granddaughter Erin Socha and grandson Ryan Socha, both of Yakima, WA., niece Robyn Kendall of Seattle, WA., and nephew J.D. Kendall of California. On August 27, 2010 at 4:00pm, there will be a celebration of Ruthie's life at her home on Santa Creek Road "Circle in the Glen". In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Association. All are welcomed to join this celebration. Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries is handling the arrangements.
