My beloved sister Lena is in heaven now reunited with her beloved daughter Patty and all those she loved who passed on before her.
I have so many wonderful memories of her and am grateful for the time we spent together when she lived in California. After she moved to Idaho we corresponded by letter every month, keeping each other informed about our family and siblings. I will miss her so much.
Lena was such a loving and caring person and was always there to help anyone in need. Not only was she a devoted wife and mother, she cared very deeply about her brothers and sisters and their families as well.
"Lena, I will miss you so much, but you will forever be in my mind and heart. You truly were an angel. Rest in peace my dear, sweet sister. I will love you always."
Your sister Katherine "Kay"

Dear Sister Lena, It was very sad to learn of your death, but know you are in heaven with Patty & John. I remember you giving me baths when I was very young. You were our surrogate mother, after our mother died so very young. God rest your soul. Love you, Brother Matt

I have always been surprised at the spunk and energy Lea had. She always told it the way it was. She also looked great in hats! Lea welcomed me with open arms when I moved to St. Maries and was in the front row with a smile that lit up the church when John and I got married. She loved her children and would tell story after story about them. She will be missed very much. Rest in peace Lea.

Aunt Lena was the greatest! She was so giving, and thoughtful. I have thousands of memories, all of which are special of her. She was one smart, and tough cookie! I always wanted to be like her. She gave me lots of advice, but when I was about 21 or so and feeling lovelorn, she told me:"What's good for the goose is good for the gander". It still makes me laugh. I remember the quilts she made for my brothers when we were young, tied up with yarn, the many pool parties, and the holidays that our large local families spent together. I am so conflicted because my faith tells me that she is in Heaven, with Patty, among other friends and family that have gone before... but my heart is heavy from her departure here. Colleen and Jack, we were all fortunate to have known her, and I hope that your faith will see you through this difficult time. I send you LOVE.

Aunt Lena was one of the most giving and caring people I have ever known - she was always special to me. Jack and Colleen, I know that you will miss your Mom very much. While we are mourning the loss of your Mom and our Aunt, many family members are rejoicing upon meeting her in heaven. She was a very special lady that will be missed by all of us.

I am so sad that Aunt Lena is gone so suddenly. I'm very grateful that I did stop and see her and Patty on my motorcycle trips with my wife.
Lena gave so much of her time to Patty and to eveyone else. She would just go go go.
God has a special person with him now.
May God Bless
