Obituary of Elizabeth M. Williams

Elizabeth M. Williams (95) long time St. Maries resident, died Oct. 19, 2010 at Coeur d' Alene, ID She was born September 4, 1915 to Mark and Elizabeth (Grant) DeMeritt at Gold Beach, OR When she was 6 years old, she moved with her family to Spray, OR. She graduated from Spray High School with the class of 1933. She moved to St. Maries, ID in 1940. She was a homemaker and raised her family. On Dec. 21, 1961, she married Terry Williams at Wallace, ID. They made their home at St. Maries. During the late 1960's, she worked for a local flower shop in St. Maries. She also worked as a Avon Sales Representative. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and making quilts. She is survived by her husband at the family home. Son Ron Cory of Fernwood, ID, her daughters Sharon Berglund of Silverton, OR, Alma Cory of River Falls, Alabama and Myra Jackson of Hubbard, OR She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. At her request, no services will be held.
