Obituary of Margie A. Norton

Margie A. Norton (71) longtime resident of Fernwood, ID died Nov. 23, 2010 at her home in Fernwood. She was born February 22, 1939 to Henry and Florence (Mika) Oliverius at Sidney, NB. She grew up in Nebraska. She married Kenny Norton on March 11, 1975 at Coeur d' Alene, ID They made their home at Spokane, WA In 1984, she and her husband moved to Little Carpenter Creek at Fernwood, ID. She was a homemaker all her life as well as working various part-time jobs. Her husband died in 1992. She enjoyed baby sitting children for family and friends. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed canning and growing flowers. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Cathy Gale of Fernwood. Her daughters Katherine Smith of Broken Arrow, OK and Jeannette Gale of Denver, CO. Also surviving are brother Lee Oliverius of Nebraska and sister Mary Miller of Dalton, NB She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. At her request, no services will be held.
