Your dad always reminded me of the perfect Irish Catholic! I enjoyed visiting with him at Mass, and of course, the Elks! He was always so proud of his family. When you would return to St. Maries for visits, he would be so thrilled! Jim said your dad went on one of Marz's annual football trips to Seattle with the SM Crew, and your Dad was a true Packers Fan! Special hugs to you Pat Rooney.....I think of you often!

I want to thank everyone for sharing your memories of my Father. He was a good man with good friends and had a great life. His last thoughts were of his late wife Shirley and of his life in Idaho. He pasted quietly on Dec. 3, 2010 at 2:25am with family at his side. We will be bring PJ's ashes back to Idaho in the spring time. This is because he said "Don't bury me when it's cold out"! We will let everyone know though Ron and by the Gazette Record.......Life is short, but memories live on, so please remember PJ Rooney! (It'll put a smile on your face)
Thanks again! Patrick O. Rooney
