Obituary of Dale Alan Pirnat
Dale Alan Pirnat (51) resident of Avery, ID died January 18, 2011 following a sudden heart attack at his home. He was born September 17, 1959 to Charles and Sondra (Simpson) Pirnat at Everett, WA. He grew up in Marysville, WA and graduated from Marysville H.S. With the class of 1977. He then began to work as a finish carpenter working out of Everett, WA. In late 1970's he moved to Alaska to work on a fishing boat . He later purchased his on fishing license and commercial fishing boat in the 1980's. Later that decade, he moved to Whidby Island , WA and worked as a heavy equipment operator for an excavation company. In 1988, he met Connie Scott at Whidby Island and they made a home together. He moved to Moses Lake, WA in 1990 and went to work for North Central Construction . He and Connie were married on Dec. 22, 1995 at Moses Lake. He moved to Avery, ID in 2004 at went to work for the Shoshone County Road Dept. He was injured in 2010 and was on medical leave from Shoshone County at the time of his death. He volunteered around his community where ever help was needed, especially using his track machine to rescue stranded people. He enjoyed hunting elk, ducks and geese as well as fishing. He especially enjoyed socializing and gathering firewood on weekends. He is survived by his wife Connie at the family home at Avery. Also surviving are his mother and step-father Sondra and Mike Strutzel of Monitor, WA. Step-sons and their wives Clint and Cheryl Bryner of Whidby Island, WA and Chuck and Cassie Bryner of El Paso, TX. His step daughter Michelle Caster of Avery. Also surviving are his brother and wife Glenn and Angie Pirnat of East Wenatchee, WA and sister and husband Lynda and Jeff Swanson of Buckley, WA. Also surviving are Step-sister Debra Henderson and husband Pete of Chelan, WA and aunt Barbara Smith of Wenatchee, WA as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A potluck celebration of his life will be held on Saturday January 29th, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m. At the Big Eddy Resort near Calder, ID.
