Obituary of Reginald l. Frederick

Reginald L. Frederick (86) resident of St. Maries, ID died April 10, 2011 at St. Maries. He was born July 16, 1924 to Gerald and Susan Frederick at Portland, ME He grew up in Brunswick, ME and attended schools there. He married Barbara Caper on Nov. 18, 1943 at Portland, ME . He served in the U.S. Army Air force from 1943 to 1945 in the European Theater of War as a gun turret specialist on B-17's. He was discharged at Boise, ID and he and his wife returned to Bowienham, ME where he lived on the family farm. He went to work for the Veterans Administration in 1950. In 1968, he transferred to Fairchild Air Force Base at Spokane, WA. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator while employed there by the Civil Service. He retired in 1980. He moved to St. Maries in 1990. His wife died in l2004. He enjoyed HAM radio operating and working with computers. His favorite pastime was the fellowship at the Senior Meal Site. He was a lifetime member of the Brunswick ME Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Bill and Annie Frederick of St. Maries, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. He is also survived by one sister Miriam.
