I'd just like to take the time ... Long over due to thank everyone that shared these kind words and great memories of Rob and my mother. We loved her so much. She lived every day of her life with great dignity and faith in the Lord. Mom modeled what being a truely godly person should live like for Rob and I our entire life. She went through many tough times losing her mother to cancer, my father and Paige. She never waivered in her faith. She loved her kids and grandkids and all of her friends and family with unconditional love. She was the best!
Thank you all. God Bless,
Troy

Dear Troy and Rob,
We only just heard the news today. We were shocked because we didn't know that your mom had been fighting cancer, again. We had hoped that she was through with it all of those years ago, when she won her fight with breast cancer. I'll never forget her bravery.
Chuck and I have such wonderful memories of our friendship with both your Mom and Dad. Even though times were tough for us, those were happy days because of your parents. As a very young wife and mother with no parents of my own, your mom was a good friend to me when I truly needed one. I'll always remember our daily walks up Tyson Creek and the talks we had. She loved sharing all of the exciting things she was learning at the University. I admired her so much for returning to college and following her dreams.. She was so proud of you boys. She loved you both so much.
We'll always remember her and her graceful, kind heart.
She was way too young, but it sounds as if she had been battling the beast for a long time.
We are so sorry that she had to endure all of that and we are sorry for your loss. The world is "less" without her.
I know it has been a long time, but we think of you boys often.
Matt sends his love and sympathies, as well.
I hope she has finally found peace.
Much love to you and your families.

Dad and Connie have requested that I write an entry here to thank all the guests at her ceremony, and all the log book entrants, and all those who knew and loved our dearly departed sister, Donna Lee. Of course we all feel a part of us is gone, but know she's in a better place awaiting for us all. God bless you all from the Gabert Family.

Donna and I shared so much of our lives while attending U of I when we returned as adults. We commuted together until I moved to my duplex in Moscow, then she, Laura Ruby, and Shirley Swan stayed with me during the week. We prayed, laughed, and cried together. I loved Donna and have so many special memories of my time with her.
She loved her family, and her kids and grandkids were her life. She was an example of generous love. I know she is with Jesus at this very minute, so I would never wish her back, but she leaves a true legacy of love for her Savior, and I'm sure you will all, including myself, join her one day. What a glorious day that will be!
I am so sorry for the news. My prayers are with you. Lovingly, Irene

Though I know that the angels are rejoicing in bringing Donna home, I'm going to miss her so very much. I'll always remember our special horseback rides and the smile she always had for me even when things weren't so good. I always knew that when Donna said she'd pray for me that she really would. I'll miss her calm, sweet spirit and fun, loving personality. I'm so sorry for your family's great loss, Rob and Troy. She loved you all so very much.

She was a spunky, sparkly, darling girl in high school and college; I did not have the pleasure of knowing her when she matured.
She will be missed by her loving family. I imagine her mother welcoming her. What a happy reunion!
My thoughts are with her family.

Troy and Dee, Robby and Joyce, David, Allen and Rick, Gene and cousin Bobby Jo, the ones I know, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you, also condolences from Cris, Wyndie, Jara and my husband Bob. Donna and I met when we were juniors in high school, became best of friends, got first jobs at same business, after graduation, the same shift, married best friends, had our two oldest boys just days apart. As we grew with our families and lives we always kept in touch at Christmas and an occasional phone call. When I moved back to this area 6 years ago we picked up where we left off as if no time was lost between us. We found that our lives had paralelled each others. I know there is no coincidence with God, everything is for a reason. I thank You, Lord, for the 46 years of friendship and comradery that You gave us. I also thank You, Lord, for choosing my birthday to release my beloved friend and sister in Christ from a hurting and decaying body, and for taking Donna home to be with You. It is a blessing to know my friend is free and with You now.
My dear friend I am missing you and I will always miss you! Sharyl
