Obituary of Patricia Ann Carlson
Patricia Ann Carlson (66) resident of Harrison, ID died April 18, 2012 at her home near Harrison from an apparent heart attack . She was born March 7, 1946 to Buck and Wilma (Jurgens) Heuett at Lewiston, ID . She moved with her family to Harrison, ID in 1953. She attended schools at Harrison. She married Carl R. Carlson on July 13, 1961 at Harrison. They then moved to Ponoka, Alberta, Canada. The following year, they moved to McLennan, Alberta. In 1967 they made their home at Falher, Alberta where they farmed and she raised her children. Patty moved to Swan Hills, Alberta in 1971. She worked as a hair stylist and beautician during the 1980's. In 1996, Patty moved to Harrison, ID. She was educated as a Certified Nurses Aide from 1997 to 1998 and had worked at Valley Vista Care Center and Kootenai Medical Center. She also operated a hair stylist business out of her home and was still employed by the Harrison School District as a bus driver at the time of her death. Patty was a member of the Harrison EMT's. The Harrison Senior Citizens. She and her husband were Harrison Old Timers Picnic Royalty for 2011. She enjoyed gardening, camping , traveling, handi-crafts and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Carl at the family home. Also surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Wendy Carlson of Barrhead, Alberta Kevin and Sharon Carlson of Abbotsford, B.C., Duane and Darlene Carlson of Whitecourt, Alberta and son Dean Carlson of Edmonton, Alberta. She is also survived by daughter and son-in-law Christine and Chris Cutrer of Lynnwood, WA, brother Roger Heuett of Spokane, WA and sisters Mrs. Loy (Maxine) Christensen of Harrison, ID and Mrs. Al (Dorothy) Dickinson of Winlock, WA . Patty is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. At Hodge Funeral Home, St. Maries with Mr. Dean Carlson conducting. A gathering of family and friends will follow services at the Harrison Senior Citizens Building.
