Obituary of Kelly Lynn Wagner

Kelly Lynn Wagner, (56) of Harrison ID, died unexpectedly April 23, 2015 at her home in Harrison. She was born January 19, 1959 to James and Beverly (Broadbent) Corder in Livingston, MT. She graduated from Livingston High School with the class of 1977. Kelly attended Montana State Univ. in, Bozeman, before transferring to Carroll College in Helena, MT. She graduated from there in 1992 with a degree in Education. She married Mark Wagner, her knight in shining armor, on August 1992 in East Helena, MT. Kelly and Mark moved to Harrison in 1993 where she was to teach Spanish with the Kootenai School district. She brought her whimsical personality to the junior high students, drama groups, and elementary children making learning fun. She had a passion for drama and was just shy of receiving her Master’s degree in Drama from Central Washington Univ. in 2010 when illness forced her early retirement. One of Kelly’s greatest joys was the impact she made on children’s lives preparing them for the future. Kelly loved gardening, planning for the spring all winter long. She enjoyed arts and crafts and visiting antique stores, filling their home with the treasures she found. Friends and relatives indulged her with additions to her quirky collections anything roosters, bunnies, and snowmen. She was an excellent cook, often browsing cookbooks for new ideas that she could give her own twist to entertain her family and friends. Kelly is survived by her husband Mark, her sons, Brock and Brady Livermore both of Harrison, ID; her parents James and Beverly Corder, of Helena, MT; and her brothers Jeff and Kirby Corder of Helena, Montana. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Harrison City Park. A reception will follow services in the Park. Second services will be Friday July 24, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Spring Meadow State Park, Helena, MT.
