Obituary of Harold D. Lewis
Harold D. Lewis (77) resident of Fernwood, ID died May 13, 2015 in St. Maries, ID. He was born December 6, 1937 to Jack and Vivian (Quinn) Brown at Seattle, WA. He grew up in Renton, WA until 1945. Harold moved with his family to Yakima, WA. As a young man, Harold worked in the woods. In 1950, he moved to Snohomish, WA. Harold was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1962. He was stationed at Ft. Riley, KS. Harold was Honorably discharged in 1964 and moved to California. While there, Harold went to work for Kaiser Steel. Harold was married to Judy Miller for 11 years before their divorce.
Harold worked as a gold miner, gypo logger and raised cattle. Harold made many visits to North Idaho and specifically liked Fernwood. He purchased his home in Fernwood, in 1987.
Harold is survived by his son Clinton D. Lewis of Lynwood, WA. His daughters Sheryl Lewis of Mt. Lake Terrace, WA and Debbie M. Lewis of Granite Falls, WA. He is also survived by his sister Violet C. Wenger of Lake Stevens, WA, ½ sisters Corrine Davis of Naselle, WA, Marina Moore of Ocean Park, WA and Rae Ferguson of Ellensburg, WA. Also surviving are ½ brothers Nick, Randy and Mark Lewis as well as 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
