Obituary of David Carroll Hankins

“Little Dave” Hankins (62) passed away at home after an extended illness. Dave was born to Luther and Laverda Lynch in Porterville, CA on January 4, 1953. In 1983 he moved to St. Maries. He traveled in the next 10 years returning to Idaho in 1993. Dave was a biker, a musician, a hunter, and a mountain man. He went out of his way to help anyone who needed it. He was brave and took the extra mile. His courage made his wife Laurie a strong person and she loved him very much as everyone did. Dave enjoyed hunting, gathering firewood, music, and his mountain life. He is survived by his spouse Laurie at the family home, sons Danny Rose from Oakland, CA and Dustin Smith from Post Falls, ID.
