I will never forget the great times Jim , Russ, and I had growing up in SM. He always had a joke ready, and was game for anything! There's nothing like the friends you have in your teens - they help you figure out who you are, and Jimmy was always there for me. I'll miss him a lot.

I haven't seen Jim for probably twenty years but growing up in St. Maries and spending a lot of time at the golf course he always had time to golf with a youngster and teach them a thing or two about the game. Memory eternal. My condolences to the family. God be with you.

Thinking of the entire Kachelmier Family.
While in high school I worked with Jim at IGA. He took me under his wing and was like a big brother. Jim was a good man that treated people with kindness.

I as many were shocked by Jim's sudden passing. It was only a couple of weeks ago we were reminiscing about when he was 15 years old and played on the Yanks that I coached. I always had him lead off, because I knew he could get on base. He will be missed, but not forgotten

Jim was a very special person. Looked forward to seeing him everyday I worked at Resors/Joes Bar. Im so sorry for your loss as a brother, borther-inlaw, I will never forget him and his sayings especially when it was football season we were just a handful of true Viking fans that showed up at Resors and rooted for them we even got boo.d a little from Joe but was all in fun. Also he brightened everyones day by saying something to them. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone. Mostly by the Resors and KK group of people we loved Jim and he always had people looking out after him wehter he wanted them to or not. My heart and prayers go out to all of the family. I have many memories growing up with Jim, working with Jim at Food City grocery store. The times I spent with Jim during our younger years are forever in my heart and my mind. Hum was a great friend then and I will never forget him forever. RIP my friend.
