Obituary of Ula Maxine Cantril

Ula M. Cantril (90) resident of St. Maries, ID formally Kendrick, ID died August 30, 2015 at St. Maries, ID. She was born March 15, 1925 to Curtis and Maude (Hiller) Arnett at Kendrick, ID. She grew up in Kendrick and attended schools there. She married Ralph Reid in 1940 at Kendrick. During the War years, they lived in Tacoma, WA where her children were born. After the war, she returned to Kendrick. She was a homemaker and cooked in area logging camps and restaurants. She lived in Elk River from 1959 to 1961 where she worked as a cook. She was divorced in 1968. Ula married Don Cantril in 1969 and they made their home in Kendrick. Her husband died in the 1990’s. She moved to St. Maries in 2014. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Ula is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ed and Darlene Reid of St. Maries, Her step-daughter and husband Sandra and Jack Mabbot of Medical Lake, WA. her brother Larry Arnett of Kendrick, ID, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son Mark Reid, brothers Frank, Fred, Wayne, and Lloyd Arnett and sister Donna Daberco. Graveside funeral Services will be at Wild Rose Cemetery, between Deary and Kendrick, ID on State Hwy 3 S. on September 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
