Obituary of Jock Eric Bittner

Jock Eric Bittner (52) passed away on September 16, 2015 in a tragic auto accident near St. Maries, ID. Jock was born March 1, 1963 to Jerome and Olive (Wetzel) Bittner in Wishek, ND. Jock was the sixth of seven children. As a young child, he moved with his family to Billings. He attended Senior High School. He had two boys Jacob and Kane. Before moving to St. Maries Jock worked in various plumbing warehouses, then he moved to St. Maries where he worked for Nick's Plumbing for numerous years. Jock opened his own successful plumbing business in 2000 named “Jock's Plumbing and Heating Inc”. On May 21, 1999 he married Brenda McCall Bittner in St. Maries, ID. Jock enjoyed working, cooking, canning the vegetables he grew from his own garden, cruising around in his jeep, working on the family's property, and his horses. Jock is Survived by his Wife Brenda at their family home, his sons Jacob (Heather) Bittner of Arkansas and Kane Bittner of Missoula, MT; Stepchildren Sam (Katrina) Mills and Amber Rimel all of St. Maries, and 5 grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters Nanette (Dennis) Walter of Billings, MT, Melissa (Greg) Erickson of Havre, MT, Melanie Kinsey of Twin Falls, ID, brother Corey (Joanna) Bittner of Ohio, and Shan (Amy) Bittner of Billings, MT; mother in-law Emmalene Curtis St. Maries, father in-law Glenn McCall of Clarkia, ID, sister in-law Della(Ed) Kennon of St. Maries along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in 1987, his brother Geoff in October 2014, and his mother on September 7, 2015. Services are pending at this time and will be announced at a later date.
