Obituary of Frank Louis Mokry

Frank Louis Mokry Sr. (82) passed away on November 1, 2015 at his home in Plummer, ID. He was born to Valentine Sr. and Mary (Sabak) Mokry on September 6, 1933 in St. Boswells, Saskatchewan, Canada. He grew up in Canada and moved to the United States in 1961. He married Delores Linnemeyer on June 17, 1961 in Bonners Ferry, ID and they had 2 children. The couple moved back to Moose Jaw Saskatchewan where he worked in farming. A few years later the couple returned to Bonners Ferry, and later divorced in November 1965. Frank married Juanita Sines in December 1966 and they made their home in Plummer, ID where we worked in construction. His job in construction took the family to various areas throughout North Idaho. Frank and Juanita divorced in 1990. Frank retired in 1998; however he still worked part time driving semi-trucks, working on cars, and fixing up tractors to sell. Frank enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to the Casino. Frank is survived by his son Todd Sines of Plummer ID, sons and daughters in-law Tracy and Tammy Sines of Worley ID, Trevor and Elizabeth Mokry of Plummer ID, Valentine III and Stephanie Mokry of Coeur d’ Alene ID, Frank Jr and Cheryl Mokry of Worley ID, Jamie and Pam Barton of Bonners Ferry ID, daughter and son in-law Tammy and Samuel Montague of Plummer ID, and daughter Kristie Barton of Walnut Creek, CA. He is also survived by his brothers Val Mokry and Art Mokry and sisters Ann Moresett and Viola Smuck all of Canada, 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank is preceded in death by his daughters Frankie Jean Mokry and Darcy Marie Mokry, brothers Joe Mokry and John Mokry, and sister Francis Walter. A Catholic mass is planned for Saturday November 7, 2015 10:00 am at the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Worley, ID. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Plummer, ID. A potluck gathering of family and friends will follow back at the church.
