Papa is the great grandfather of my 2 amazing children. He is truly an amazing man, he loved the outdoors, and loved telling us stories about thing he did during his time in the Navy. He loved serving his country, his town, and his family with every part of him. He lived an amazing life and I am very fortunate to have known him. He is a man who was trust worthy, loved by all who knew him, and respectable. I wish we could have had the chance to see you again. We truly love you, and you will hold a special place in our hearts. As Riley has been blessed with carrying your name, I hope to raise him to be just as great of a man as you were. We love you, and send our love and sympathy to Meme, and all of your loved ones. Forever in our hearts Tabatha, Athena, and Riley.

you were my hero, my rock, and a safe place of comfort.. i dont know why or understand why god chose to take you so soon.. but i also know that everything happens for a reason.. biologicaly you are my grandfather, but our bond is truley father and daughter. without your love and support, i would not be who i am today. i thank god everyday that he chose you to be the man to teach me things that only a true father can.. i promise i will be playing cribbage and qouting john wayne phrases with you again when my time comes. thank you for always loving me unconditionally and never turning your back or walking away from me.. forever in my heart papa... always, chrissy (your little lady)
