Obituary of Crystal "Nadine" Dreisbach

Crystal “Nadine” Dreisbach (71) passed away on June 23, 2016 at Benewah Community Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Nadine was born in San Diego, CA on April 22, 1945. She grew up in San Diego, CA until the age of 13 when she went to live with her Aunt Virginia and Uncle Tom Keener in St. Maries, ID. Nadine attended Upriver and St. Maries Schools. In 1962 she married Frank Michael and had 3 children Tori, Toni, and Timothy. Frank and Nadine divorced in 1982. Nadine met Bill Dreisbach and they joined lives together in 1984. The couple made their home in St. Maries, ID. Nadine worked for Valley Vista Care Center, Teton Rod Fly Rod, Mfg., and she worked as a waitress for some of the area restaurants and taverns. Nadine enjoyed gardening, camping, canoeing, rock climbing, and growing flowers. Nadine is survived by her husband Bill Dreisbach at the family home, daughters Tori Posey (Vern Fritsche) of Tensed, ID, and Toni (Ralph) Quigley of St. Maries, ID. She is also survived by her brother Keith Keener, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Nadine is preceded in death by her son Timothy Michael, granddaughter Brittney Posey, and brothers James Keener and Acea Keener. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday July 2, 2016 11:00 am at the Eagles Lodge in St. Maries, ID. A gathering of family and friends to share a meal will follow. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 9, 2016 12:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall – Jehovah’s Witness church in St. Maries, ID.
