Obituary of Lorna A. Eichelberg

Lorna A. Eichelberg (65) resident of St. Maries, ID passed away on July 31, 2016 at Benewah Community Hospital after a long an courageous battle with cancer. She was born to John and Dorothy Louden in Spokane, WA on November 18, 1950. Lorna graduated from North Central High School and attended Spokane Falls Community College studying photography. Lorna married Fred Connery and the marriage ended in divorce. She worked as a photographer at Spokane Valley Studio where she met Bill Eichelberg. They fell in love and married in 1980. She was the owner and manager of House of Images Photography Studio in Spokane where she worked as a photographer. In 1998 the couple moved to the St. Maries, ID area. She enjoyed her life on the St. Joe River. Lorna and Bill owned and operated Riverside Tree Farm. Lorna was later hired as the Office Manager for Goodwill Industries assisting her clients with information and programs to assist them in finding employment. Lorna enjoyed reading, the outdoors, kayaking, and her dogs. She will be missed very much by her family and friends. Lorna is survived by her husband Bill at the family home; son John (Katie) Eichelberg of Spokane, WA; sisters Betty Child of Port Orchard, WA, Dee Reece of Lincoln City, OR, and Chris Louden, brother in-law Dan Eichelberg of Freeman, WA; sister in-law Nancy (Lyle) Lindeman of Mobridge, SD. She is preceded in death by her parents. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Lorna’s life will be held at a later date.
