sorry to hear of Jims death, we were friends since the 1950s when we raced Micro Midgets . brother Ed was mechanic. He was a hell of a guy.. I'm 86 years now , so ill see him again when its my turn ,,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Grandma, as you are flooded with memories of our wonderful Grandpa Jim. He was one of the kindest, loving, lighthearted men to lead our amazing family. With you by his side, he was a better man, a stronger man and a very, very happy man. I will always have memories of Grandpa teaching us grandkids to play pool, eating his big homemade breakfast and visiting you at your home with the big park back yard in Nevada when we were young. More recently, we spent an amazing Christmas together where we shared special one-of-a-kind gifts for each other and Grandpa got my name in the draw. My cookie jar he gave to me will always be the most special gift. He was so proud of the message..."Life is a JOY and all things show it. I thought so once but now I know it". Every day I see it, I think of you both. Always living life to its fullest and teaching us all to do the same. I will be forever grateful for the final days of his life where we shared laughter, love, and tears with the patriarch of our family. He was a strong beacon that gave our parents guidance and direction to be great parents themselves.
Grandma, I hope you know how much you are loved by us, and loved by our Grandpa. In his final days, he called you his amazing bride. He couldn't be more correct! May peace and love be with you today and all the days ahead.
To everyone who knew our Grandpa, thank you for being the friends he loved. He touched many lives through his kindness, generosity and love of giving. We appreciate your thoughts and will be praying for your peace as well. It's so hard to lose a good friend.
We will see each other again, Grandpa.
