Obituary of Myron "Buster" C. Ragan
Myron “Buster” Cliford Ragan (88) longtime resident of St. Maries, ID died on November 13, 2016. He was born to John and Stella (Person) Ragan on April 11, 1928 in Frazee, MN. Buster went to high school in Pulaski where he was a three year in a row state wrestling champion. After high school he worked for fish and game in Minnesota, and then worked for Ladish Drop Forge Steel Mill.
Buster married Bev Gruel and the couple had two children John and Jill. In 1956 he moved to St. Maries, ID where he bought the Benewah Resort. He later entered the real estate business where he owned and operated St. Maries Realty. The couple later divorced.
Buster married Janice Everett and they had three children Lance, Lorrie, and Victoria. The couple was married for 41 years. Buster enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, and horses. He loved talking about fishing!
Buster is survived by his wife Janice at the family home; sons John (Janie) Ragan of St. Maries, ID and Lance (Tracey) Ragan of Rathdrum, ID; daughters Jill (Randy) Enevold of Spokane, WA, Lorrie Marcus of St. Maries, ID, and Victoria (John) Sims of Hayden Lake, ID. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Buster is preceded in death by his parents John and Stella Ragan and his brother Larry Ragan.
A graveside service is planned for November 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries, ID.
