Though I have not seen him in years. Uncle Skip was my favorite Uncle. As a child (with a broken leg) he would piggy back me around. Years later we would ride me on his bicycle to the neer by irrigation ditch where we would go swimming on hot summer days and, play in a Fort he constructed in the pasture on Grandmas property out in the country in Dalton Gardens. I remember riding around in Coeur d Alene in his Hot racey El Cameno with the noisey pipes. Again years later I lived with him and Aunt Linda for a short time, going to the Hospital the day when Sandy was born. Such Joy!! Again during that time we would get up early in the morning (it was still dark) Aunt Linda would pack us up with a Lunch box and Coffee and off we'd go hunting to Skips favorite spot. My first hunting trips and my first cups of coffee were with my Uncle Skip. I have been gone for some 40 years but I remember fondly the great times and many lessions I learned from my Uncle Skip. My condolences to his Children, Grandchildren and the Whole Family. My Heart is Broken with this loss.

i am saddened to have lost my Uncle Skip. My condolences to his children, grandchildren, his brother and sisters and to the rest of our family. I have great memories of time spent with my Uncle. One memory was Skip teaching me to whistle. I was eleven and Skip was sixteen. He walked me up and down 4th St in CD'A until I got it. Grandma Blanche lived on 4th St at that time. I enjoy whistling to this day! Im sure Skip is with Grandma in heaven. My love to Skip and Grandma, and to all our family.

My dearest sympathies to the family.
Skip was truly a wonderful man. He always had an open door and smile on his face. I loved sitting with him and talking for hours. He and I had an amazing time while Matt was hunting or working on some car. Trips to Fernwood will never be the same without the stops to see Uncle Skip.

We will miss you so much. It was always nice to know you were next door keeping an eye on our place when we went somewhere. I enjoyed running over for a quick visit or to bring you some sweets and cucumbers in the summer. How you loved those fresh cucumbers. Years before you fixed my coffee pot twice for me.
