Obituary of Nathan W. Kiesbuy
Nathan William Kiesbuy (59) resident of Plummer, ID passed away at his home on January 30, 2017. He was born to Donald and Dorothy Kiesbuy in Torrance, CA on November 11, 1957. Shortly after he was born the family relocated to Moscow, ID while his father finished college. Work took the family to Portland, OR where they lived for 7 years. They again moved to Modesto, CA and then onto Coeur d’ Alene, ID. While Nathan was in high school, he developed a love for art and he was very talented. Rock carving, pencil sketching, and painting pictures of animals were his favorite forms of art.
Following his schooling, Nathan went to work as a cabinet maker in California. He made beautiful cabinets for some extraordinary homes in California. Nathan relocated to the Spokane/Coeur d’ Alene area where he logged with his brother Ben. He decided he liked the Plummer, ID area, so he relocated to Plummer. Nathan enjoyed working out at the Wellness Center, riding his bike, and reading. He was a very simple man who liked the outdoors.
Nathan is survived by his father Don (Alva) Kiesbuy of Spokane, WA; brothers Ben Kiesbuy of Coeur d’ Alene, ID, Michael Kiesbuy of Walla Walla, WA, and Todd (Shauna) Kiesbuy of Coeur d’ Alene, ID; sisters Amy Kiesbuy (Fred Gribbler) of Careywood, ID and Betsy (Juan) LaJuenesse of Tacoma, WA. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Nathan is preceded in death by his mother Dorie Kiesbuy.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
