Obituary of Robert Edgar Nelson

Robert Edgar Nelson was born on April 6, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 15 Robert's parents moved the family to Riverside, CA. Robert married Frances Decatur in 1952 and served in the Navy in the Korean War.  In 1962 he moved his family to Reno, NV where they resided until 2007. In his younger years Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and passed these passions on to his children. After retiring from Nevada Bell Telephone Company he enjoyed playing golf.  After suffering a stroke in 2007 Robert and Frances moved to Plummer, ID to be closer to their daughter. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances and Grandson Chris Reynolds. He is survived by his sons Lon/Nicole Reynolds of Plummer, ID. Wayne/Cindy Nelson of Gypsum, CO, daughter Mary/Mike Ingersoll of Plummer, ID and brother Paul/Lou Nelson of Salem, OR and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
