Obituary of Daryl Del Carlen

Daryl (Bud) Carlen (89) resident of St. Maries, ID passed away on June 23, 2017.  He was born to Delbert and Marcheta (Johnson) Carlen in Ellensburg, WA on October 1, 1927.  Bud spent his school years in Spokane, WA.  He graduated from Roger’s High School with the class of 1945.  In January 1945 at the age of 18 he joined the US Marines.  He spent 1 ½ years in the service.  Daryl married Jennie Loeser on March 22, 1952.  Although the couple didn’t have any children of their own, they were very fond of their nieces and nephews Roger, Del, Marcheta, Markell, Ben, Josh, and Nick. 

Daryl is survived by his wife Jennie of St. Maries, ID and his brother Dana and Jean Carlen of Deer Park, WA.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. 

A private service will be held at a later date.
