Obituary of James E. Clymer
James E. Clymer, 67, passed away on Tuesday, September 25 while at work at Valley Vista Care Center. He was born September 13, 1945 to Ensel and Anna Clymer in Peru, Indiana. He attended Indiana State University before moving to California where he met Dorothy Withers. They were married in St. Maries on February 9, 1988. They ran a health food store and Jim, a black belt, taught classes in Tae Kwon Do and self defense, in St. Maries for many years. He also worked at Valley Vista at that time, and then as a home health care provider before returning to work at Valley Vista 14 years ago. Jim enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping and hiking with his friends and recently had discovered four wheeler riding. His passion was the care and welfare of animals. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 1992. He left no immediate family but considered his many friends, their children, his co-workers and residents he cared for as his family.
