Obituary of Leonard E. Gustin
Leonard E. Gustin (63) resident of Alder Creek, died October 5, 2012 at St. Maries, ID. He was born June 3, 1949 to Howard and Zelda (Campbell) Gustin at Leavenworth, WA. He grew up and was educated in San Diego, CA He also spent some of his youth in New Orleans, LA. He had two marriages that ended in divorce. His first was to Marjorie Kern in the early 1980's. During that time he operated Kerr Films in San Diego. He also made and sold Turquoise jewelry. His second marriage was to Olivia which lasted 10 years. He lived with her at Salinas, CA and worked as a Park Ranger. Leonard became disabled following a motorcycle accident in 1981. He moved to Lapwai, ID with his companion Roberta Champagne in 2000. He attended Lewis Clark State College at Lewiston, ID and studied computer science. He moved to Troy, ID in 2001 before moving to their current home on Alder Creek in 2003. Leonard is survived by his companion Roberta Champagne at the family home. His mother Zelda Carrico and his cousin Robert Allen who both live at Moscow, ID He is also survived by ½ sisters Phyllis and Lisa Marie, and his aunt Ethel Salter of E.
