Don was a positive influence on my life. He was my psychology teacher in high school and his wife was my favorite teacher (English, Creative Writing). I've seen Don do amazing things. Once at a benefit he bought the same bottle of whiskey over and over several times, until he felt he had given enough.....he had a big heart and a big personality. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends....Don will be sorely missed.

So saddened to hear of your families loss. I have a lot of fond childhood memories growing up near the Darters and spent a lot of time at their home ( and on his horse, Toots) and was also privileged to have him as a teacher in highschool.
