Alan was a remarkable man. You could always count on him coming to all events at Kendrick High. I remember he had his favorite section to set and watch our games. You could hear him cheer on his team and visitors if they did a good play. He was always upbeat and had the biggest smile. I loved to talk with Alan, I would ask him how he was doing and his response was always 'ohtay'. He was knowledgeable in many subjects and the history of Kendrick, Cameron, Southwick, and Gold Hill. Alan will always hold a warm spot in my life. To his family i send my thoughts and prayers during this stuff time.

to my family, I was so very sad to hear about Uncle Alan and am sending love and healing prayers to each of you. Uncle Alan was an amazing, caring and loving person to all. I will miss his stories and also the smile on his face whenever I think of how he enjoyed going and listening to music. There are so many memories I have of him, way to many to list. Know that I am thinking of you during this time.
Love,
Bridget

I'm so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. He was always friendly and happy to stop and visit with me whenever I saw him. I always admired his determination and his work ethic. Even as a child riding the school bus I was impressed that he was on that crawler tractor or wheel tractor working away. He always had a big, one-armed wave for the bus and anyone else that drove by. Condolences to his family.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Alan Chilberg. We didn’t know Alan well, but are very good friends of Ed and Darlene Reid, Alan’s sister and brother-in-law. We saw Darlene, many times at Valley Vista Care Center, where she visited Alan twice every day. She was a wonderful sister to Alan. Our sympathies to the Valley Vista attendants and friends of Alan. He will be remembered with such fondness by all who knew him. He was such a gentle man.
