For a few years we were blessed to have Joan as our closest neighbor and we thoroughly enjoyed her friendship. We were sad to see her move and she remained in our thoughts and prayers until she went to her new home with Jesus. On the day we moved in she came over and got us up to speed with pertinent information like the channel the Seattle Mariners played on and the time of the game that day.

What a wonderful lady! I was blessed to know Joan, and I'm thankful for the times we shared. She loved to sing and shared her beautiful voice with us at Valley Vista. She will be greatly missed. Yes, she is safely home, in the arms of Jesus!

What a touching tribute to an amazing lady. We are blessed to know Debbie, Dale, and Jackson and have them in our life. Debbie, you are an awesome nurse, wife, and friend, and I know you made your mom very proud. And she couldn't have asked for a better son in law and grandson. We are so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have known her better, I love your stories. Treasure your beautiful memories and may the love and prayers of your friends, family, and this entire community embrace you. We are lucky to have you here with us.

Deb, I loved your mom. She was my birthday buddy! One year our church was doing town cleanup along the high way and she joined with our group! I could barely keep up with her. Because she kept herself fit and walking was her exercise! I loved watching her with the babies at the daycare. And they loved her.My prayers are with you and your family. She is well and whole with Jesus now. Gotta celebrate that even in the midst of the loss! Love and prayers, Kaye

Your mom will be greatly missed. I loved her smile and the way her face lite up when her family came. I remember the time that Debbie and Robyn where there and they started singing and Joan was able to sing with them and could remember the words to the songs. Her face was just beaming. She always seemed to have a smile for Jackson. Debbie you were a fantastic daughter to your mom and even with this terrbile disease taking her mind she knew that. She is now with our Savior smiling, singing and rocking her babies. She will be missed but never forgotten

She will be missed. Joan delighted in those babies, especially her own, even as they got older. What an amazing woman she was and what a legacy of amazing family she leaves behind. Our sympathies and prayers for comfort for all her precious family and those who served her so well at Valley Vista.

My condolences to Joan’s family. It was my pleasure knowing her and her St. Maries family. Debbie, I loved watching her play with Jackson when he was much smaller, on the lawn of VV Assisted Living. She had so much energy! She was a sweet lady. We often talked about the fun and adventures of being mommies of twins. God bless your family in your time of sadness.
