Obituary of Pamela R. Eells
Pamela R. Eells (62) resident of St. Maries, ID passed away at her home surrounded by her family on May 6, 2018. She was born to Robert Galbraith and Ruth Rodriguez on January 9, 1956 in Hillsboro, OR. Pam grew up in Boise, ID attending Capital High School. Following high school in 1972 she married Dallas Eells and the couple had son Anthony. Dallas’ work took the family to Tillamook, OR where son DJ was born. The family moved back to Boise, ID where daughter Tyra was born. Pam stayed home to take care of her children.
In the fall of 1986, the family moved to St. Maries, ID. Once Pam’s children were graduated, she went to work for the Coeur d’ Alene Tribal Casino in housekeeping. After 13 years of service, she ended her career as the Manager of housekeeping.
Pam was very artistic and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and painting. She loved entertaining her family on holidays, specifically Thanksgiving, and went all out with food and drinks. She was a loving mother who enjoyed being with her family. She and her family are very well known for the haunted house created on Halloween at the top of Capital Hill. Her family will miss her very much.
Pam is survived by Dallas Eells of St. Maries, ID; her sons Anthony (Jessica) Eells and DJ (Ramona) Eells of St. Maries, ID; daughters Tyra Shaver and Megan Eells of St. Maries, ID; parents Robert Galbraith of Texas and Ruth Rodriguez of Nyssa, OR; brothers Gerald Galbraith, Albert Tuma, and Tom (Amy) Tuma all of Boise, ID; sister Marcie Fay Tuma of Nebraska; 4 grandchildren Aaron D. Shaver Jr., Courtney J. Young, Toni L. Eells, Hayden R. Eells; numerous nieces and nephews. Her brother Danny Galbraith precedes her in death.
A private family service will be held this Saturday in Southern Idaho.
