I met Ronda in the 6th grade in Lincoln School in Ontario, CA. We were fast friends from then through high school. Event double dated when she met Chet and was in their wedding. We shared all the events in our lives, marriage, babies, visiting them in their homes, especially at their beautiful lakeside home in Harrison. I was always amazed at her creativity and sweet smile and attitude toward life. Learning to drive a semi-truck to be with Chet on the road was a magnificent achievement. You go girl! I still miss our many letters over the years, keeping up with our lives. May she rest in the arms of our dear Lord and Savior.
Till we meet again, your forever friend, Janice

I've had the pleasure of sharing almost every single summer since my childhood with Ronda as my next door neighbor. She was one of the most caring and thoughtful people that I know, always going out of her way to make sure someone was happy. I will deeply miss her!

Ronda and Chet are our neighbors in Harrison. We always looked forward to dinners with them, or just reminiscing and talking on the front porch. I remember Ronda always being so happy and cheerful, and her home and garden always looked magnificent. She will be missed by all of us! Sending love and prayers.

We first met Ronda & Chet Rudy when we bought the house next door to them in Harrison, Idaho in August of 2002. They were longtime residents at that time who knew everyone in town. They are wonderful neighbors and we became good friends. Ronda was always busy taking care of her beautiful garden flowers, crafting new designs and taking great pride in the amazing colorful quilts she made as gifts. Ronda entertained us for hours over potluck dinners with her stories on the Swift Commercial Truck Driving circuit throughout the US with Chet. She could outmaneuver the “men folk” with her truck driving skills. We helped Ronda & Chet celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary at a big town party in Harrison Central Park. In 2008, the Rudy’s finally came to California to visit us and attend a wedding. This beautiful photo of both of them smiling during that trip is how we will always remember Ronda.

The most important things to me that I remember Ronda are: Her beautiful smile, her giggles, the twinkle in her eye, the uplifting spirit she had for everyone, her kindness, and her never ending faith for God and our Lord Jesus Christ!!!
