In this World there are many Fathers, Christie and I were lucky, We Got a DAD, While your work kept you from home during the week, weekends were Family Time.
at times it was doing chores around the house and imparting a few life lessons, other times was fun stuff, fishing, hunting, camping trips, sometimes just a sunday drive or trip to see the grand parents. Then back to work again. Your Family came first. We were Never Cold, Never Hungry, had a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, shoes on our Feet(with me the shoe thing was a tough one).
When I finally Came Home from the Service We started going for breakfast at the Gateway Saturday Mornings, I enjoyed those times with you as we had a lot of years to catch up on. I still go, every saturday, but its not the same. We never said the words, Guess we figured it went without saying.
I miss you

Finding the right words is often difficult so I'll keep it simple. There are so many good memories of grandpa that it is hard to narrow it down to the best ones. Grandpa gave great life advice and he often did it with a measure of comedy that made it stick out in your mind years later. Grandpa will be greatly missed by many, and all that knew him.

Dear Cox family,
I am sorry to hear about your father's death. I offer my sympathy to each of you.
I am thankful to have known your father, grandfather and grandmother. I appreciated the opportunities to visit, though it has been many years. I enjoyed the reunions for the Jones family and the other occasions which were much too seldom. I pray for your comfort and strength at this difficult time.
Your cousin,
Karen Quinton
