It is with the heaviest heart that I write this condolence. I spent three years of my career teaching Greg. The first year was when he was in fourth grade. He always had the best smile and loved to tease me and take teasing in return. It was a long standing joke with his class that Greggy was my favorite. Even though I don't have favorites, he is a student that will forever hold a special place in my heart. My favorite number is 21, and whenever that number would come up in class, Greg would say it in a funny way. It took me two years to figure out he was mocking a meme and not me. When we had to wear masks during Covid, he had the funniest Sponge Bob mask that made my day. I know just how much he cared about his family and they cared about him. I send so many thoughts and prayers to them all as they journey this Earth without Greg until they seem him again someday. I find comfort in knowing that he has two classmates and his most special grandma Eleanor greeting him at the pearly gates. Much love to you all, and until we meet again Greggy.
