I only met Bill in person once. I began emailing with him through his radio program, Tradio. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and shared a lot of his views. I'll truly miss him.

We have wonderful memories of Bill and his family during the 6 years we were in St. Maries. The kids played together and we exchanged some babysitting, plus softball games. Bill was particularly helpful once Ray transferred to Wyoming until the girls and I could make the move. We will miss you, Bill.

It was truly a shock to learn of Bill's passing! Linda and I knew Bill and Mike when we lived in St. Maries from 1980 - 85 and I worked with them at the Forest Service.
Bill was a wonderful friend, coworker and family man. A number of us spent plenty of time "up river" in Avery with Bill (and Mike) and shared in a lot of hard work and exhausting days. However, Bill always seemed to find the humor in any situation, and often had us laughing during many evenings at the bunkhouse (and later condos).
Our sorrow joins yours at his loss, just as our joy of being a part of his life has been with us all these years. Our love to his family and friends!

Hard to believe Bill and Mick are both off on this journey.
I remember when the Andersons first came back from Tennessee and Billy (As we called our little cousin then)pointed to their car and proudly said in his little southern accent, "That's our Pontiac Starchief!" A great guy...we're gonna miss 'im.
