Dear Burch Family, When we came to the Fernwood area 23 yrs ago Norm Sr. was so kind and helpful to us. We know he had a lot of physical suffering throughout his life, but he always told us he could make it through because of his wonderful family. It was an honor to know him.

Grandpa, I miss you so much already. I'm so lucky to have grown up with you and Gram so close and always there for everything. You both are truly the best grandparents a person could ever ask for, and I am so thankful for 28 years of wonderful memories with you.
Riding in your log truck with you during the Fernwood parade, summer camping trips, going to the Fossil Bowl to watch Cody race, your stash of candy bars, your laugh, your smile...a million memories I'll cherish forever. One time we still laugh about is when we were camping and Dad had a Hershey Bar hid in his camping chair for after Trace went to bed. When he went to eat it, he unwrapped it, and it was a piece of wood. You'd eaten the candy bar, put a piece of wood in the wrapper and put it back in my Dad's chair. You were always such a character! Life sure isn't going to be the same without you.
You are such a strong man and made it through so much more than anyone ever thought possible. I am so grateful for all the time with you and that I am lucky enough to call you my Grandpa. I love you to the moon and back and always will.
Love, Ammy

I will never forget the time we were camping and Trace made you an ice cream cone out of play dough. You thought it was real and bit into it. We didn't stop you before it was too late because we thought you were just humoring Trace. Your laugh and your smile will forever stay in my heart. Thank you for having such a wonderful family, that I was lucky enough for a time to be a part of. Your legacy will live on as long as you are in the hearts of those of us left behind.
Love to the whole family.
