Terry was my wife's grandfather and while I didn't see him often, I always enjoyed his company when I joined her on to trips to St Maries. I will always remember the day many years ago when Terry took me fly fishing on the St Joe River. Just he and I on the river and even though we didn't catch anything, it was still a great day listening to his stories and experiences from living in Northern Idaho.

We loved Terry; he was the best neighbor, the best dinner guest, a best friend, and the best champion of our neighborhood feline family! He also was a teacher of local lore, informative, funny, and accurate. Terry was a generous and honest man and truly listened when we needed a sounding board. Though we will miss him terribly, we will always cherish and remember his gifts of wisdom and friendship with a smile!
With sincere condolences, Dan and Sue Stapleton
