Obituary of Terry D. Williams

Terrence D. Williams (79) longtime Fernwood , ID resident, died March 15, 2014 at St. Maries, ID. He was born February 18, 1935 to Cecil and Florence Williams at Spokane, WA Terry grew up in Fernwood, ID. He graduated from St. Maries High School with the class of 1953. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1964. Following his discharge, Terry returned to the area and worked in the woods. He married Elizabeth M. Demeritt on Dec. 22, 1961 at Reno, NV. The made their home in Fernwood where he continued to work in the woods until his retirement. His wife died in 2010. Terry and Liz were married 49 years and they enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking and reading. Terry had many great friends that he also enjoyed spending time with. He was a member of the N.R.A. Terry is survived by his son Ron Cory of Fernwood, ID, daughters Sharon Berglund and Myra Jackson both of Oregon and Alma Cory of Alabama. Sisters Sharon Hackett of Washington and Dianna McCreary and Gloria Wilson both of Oregon. 10 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
