I am so sorry for your loss. Bea was such a special lady. I'm better for having known her. Still think of her every time I see a brown Daschund!

My Great Aunt Bea holds a special place in my heart!! Fondest memories are visiting she and Uncle Wally when they lived upstairs in the 'Heimark' building!! Auntie always had a couple of barking friendly little dogs to greet you. She always had to give you one of her special wonderful hugs and kisses!! Tables turned I have been honored to do her hair these past several years, we had great visits! Say 'hi' to my grandma for me, your 'big sis'!!! LOVES!

As a young child...I was so excited to finally get to go to the honey comb "Buzz on in" to get my hair cut....I loved going there...she continued to be my lady until she had to retire...such a kind hearted special friend to all....She will never know how many lives she touched.

Bea, for almost 60 years we have shared so much and I can't begin to thank you enough for being a "2nd" mom to me and such a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother to my children and grandchildren. We have many reminders of you in our home, photos, pictures on the walls, your flowers in our garden (pansies you sent home with me to plant in my own garden 30 years ago - they reseed each year and are especially beautiful right now), and lots of your crocheted coat hanger covers which you supplied to just about everyone! But, I also want to mention, when you were well into your later years, all the dozens of jars of pears you canned every year just so you could give them all away to family and/or friends - canning pears is hard work (you were never afraid of hard work though). You will always live on in our memories and hearts; your long journey has ended and bet you're making all in heaven happy with some of those yummy cinnamon rolls! Love you so much forever "mom" Krasselt!

Cinnamon Rolls and Roses! That's what I think about when I think of Grandma! Always in her flower beds Tending to the roses, I wish I had that green thumb! Always perfect and beautiful! The BEST cinnamon rolls ever! Always had my special batch without raisins! I'd give anything for just one more! Her eyes would just sparkle anytime you showed up for a visit, especially with a baby in hand! Of course there are many other memories, and I'm so grateful for them all! Always in our hearts! You will be missed. I love you!

I can say with all sincerity that Bea was one of my favorite
parishioners. After Wally's death, she was in church every Sunday that
health allowed. Her face beamed joy at those services. I remember
one Easter Sunday she shared a healing vision of Jesus from the night
before. Her face literally shone with her joy at being pain free.
In the last few years after her mobility became limited, I visited her with the
Lord's Supper. I don't think it was the bread and juice that was so
important as was the opportunity to talk about her kids, grand-kids, and her memories
of St. Maries in the old days. One morning she called me at the church
saying, "Come over here. I've got to show you something."
Not imagining what she wanted to show me, I hurried over. She met me in
her rose garden pointing to the ground. There on the ground amidst the
half-eaten roses were the indelible hoof prints of deer. I don't know
which was the greater emotion: The joy of knowing deer were in her yard
or the frustration that deer were eating her flowers. I am saddened by
her death but comforted by a life that is now endless. Blessings to you
all. Gary Foster

So sorry for your loss.
I will always remember Mrs. Krasselt sitting on her porch shushing her dog the many times I walked past her house on College Ave. I often stopped to admire her beautiful roses.
