I met Lars at Friendship Indiana in 1979, and also being in the raw fur business we instantly sensed a great deal in common, thirty five years later I realize what an un-common friend I've lost. Lars and I bought and sold back and forth to each other for decades and I always knew that when I sent him something and said "just be fair" all the onus was on him, and he was generally more than fair. We ALWAYS appreciated his special sense of humor and his genuine enjoyment of people! I'll drink a few with you in mind buddy, and make fun of you with someone else who cares (as usual). Rest in peace knowing you are loved by many. We remember

Dear Linda,
Chris and I are so sad to hear of Lars' passing. For 22 years, as customers and friends, we have been honored to enjoy the friendship of this fine man. He was such a kind and compassionate person. He brightened the world in all he touched, and we will miss him dearly. We'll never forget that twinkle in his eye while he enjoyed a good joke or quipped about some irony in our world today. We send you our heartfelt condolences and prayers.
All our best,
Gala and Chris Muench

Lars was a kind and caring person, employer, and most importantly, a good friend. His magnetic personality and zest for life was contagious. His mischievous ice blue eyes always "smiled" and made you wonder what he was "up to" - - and sometimes you found out ! Ya, ya you betcha ! Lars' passing has definitely left a void in our lives. We feel fortunate to have known him and been a part of his life. Lars merely "retired" to the great plains of Africa in search of that trophy elephant. Happy Hunting. You will be missed. Kerry and Lonnie Klein.

Lars was a good friend. He could drink a Tequila shot like no other and we tossed a few back at Duck\'s Unlimited with fun, laughter and purpose. I didn\'t know he was gone until a couple of days ago and it seems the light has dimmed just a bit. Prayers and love to Linda and the family. Maggie Olson

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Lars. I consider him a very good friend and one that you could always count on. He always had a smile on his face and a gleam in his eyes. That gleam somehow turned into nuisance at times. I'll never forget some of the tricks he pulled on me. Only Lars could think of those types of things.
You will be missed dearly buy those that were touched by you. You will forever be in my heart and soul.

Lars loved dirty jokes, tequila shots and women. He was kind and elegant. He had crystalline blue eyes that laughed in the face of time, refusing to cloud and lose clarity. To me he was like family. He treated his wife like the catch of a lifetime, and if it was important to his wife, it was important to him. You couldn't have a better friend than Lars. And if you ever needed to know something "ass-ole Lars."
In the savannas of my heart he'll always be hunting wild boar, enjoying a drink and cracking us up. Ya, ya.
