Obituary of Lars Knute Eidnes

On June 7th, at age 65, Lars passed away in his home from cancer. He accepted his illness with courage, determination and humor. For the last two decades, Lars and Linda enjoyed a fun and adventurous marriage Lars as an accomplished business owner of Eidnes Furs, where he appreciated his employees and customers. He received degrees in Biology and Art History. Lars participated and donated to many organizations in St. Maries. He loved and enjoyed this community, and the wide variety of people who reside in it. While attending college, Lars became good friends with Don Erickson and Wayne Melquist. Once a year, every year since graduating from college, the three would go on hunting trips together. Lars also enjoyed big game hunting in Africa and was able to make three trips there. Lars leaves behind his wife Linda Schardine Eidnes. Also his sister Linda and her husband Paul Moscherosch, sister Carol and her husband Scott Eversen, and sister–in-law Nancy Eidnes and many relatives in Wisconsin. Lars was preceded in death by both his parents and brother Kenneth Eidnes Jr. Lars had a very unique Wisconsin sense of humor and delightful spirit. The world will never be the same without Lars, nor should it be. He will be missed forever. "ya, ya, you betcha" A memorial celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from the hours of 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the home of Dr. Bill and Patty Wheeler 999 Meadow view Road, St. Maries, ID.
