Obituary of Wanda Faye Edwards

Wanda Faye Edwards (73) rersident of Clarkia, ID , died September 8th at her home from injuries she received in a fall. She was born February 26, 1941 to Gerald and Merna (Pierce) Burgh at Bovill, ID. She grew up in Moscow, ID and graduated from Lewiston High School with the class of 1959. As a young woman, she worked as a secretary for David Swain Law Office in Moscow, ID. Wanda had two marriages that ended in divorce, before marrying Bill Martson in 1974. She went to work for the U. S. Forest Service in the early 1970's as a secretary. Wanda worked out of the St. Maries office and later the Clarkia Work Center. Her husband died in 2004 . Wanda retired in 2006. Wanda enjoyed going to yard sales. She really enjoyed hanging out and visiting with Forest Service friends. She was an avid reader and loved her little dog "Pepper". Wanda is survived by her sons Monte and wife Terri Nelson of Viola, ID. And Phillip Edwards of Wyoming. Step-son Bill and wife Melis Martson of Pullman, WA., daughters Pixie Sanborn of Bonners Ferry, Toni Edwards of Spokane, WA and step-dau. Patti and husband Gary Collins of Troy, ID.. also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law Clinton and Marjorie Batey of Deary, ID, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
