What a man, a man with a huge smile every time you seen him. I will always remember our trips to Wisconsin, the huge station wagon, Poopsee at the wheel, huge smile and the whole crew filling the car!! The stories that were told in those times always make me giggle, especially the Poopsee story. Dixie, thank you for sharing that story, it has made me laugh every time I think of it!! what a wonderful person Gene was words can not even come close, just that his smile brightened your day and his hugs made you feel comfort. You will be greatly missed Poopsee, when I get up there I will bring you a new pair!!

Dixie and family:
What a good photo of Gene. And, except for the hair color,
looks just like he did when he delivered oil to the house 40 odd years ago. His
story is that of a home town boy made good I’m sure in part to his upbringing,
you and the children, and his faith. Now he is at rest in the Lord. God be with
you and give you strength in the days ahead.
