Lind was one of my closest and truest friends.
Memories reflected would take a book..not a chapter or page. For more than 40 years we did things that made our lives and who we are. Lind was always a friend, to fish with, hunt with, work with, laugh with, to share everything with..he was my closest friend. His laughter will always be in my ears, his vision in dreams, and his friendship within my very soul.
A lot of things will never be the same, but in my mind he will still be a major part whatever I do, because he was part of who I am.
It's hard to put into words what I feel, but knowing Lind, whatever life throws at me, he'll be hanging over my shoulder being part of it. He was more than a friend, he was someone I counted on and trusted, was always there when needed, and always found the right words to turn harshness into laughter.. Lind was Lind.

Lind is and will allways be a friend of mine. We worked, fishied and mushroomed together. He enjoyed life and lived it will. He was a man you could trust when he said something.
Stay strong Marge these are hard times, but we know he is still watching. I will miss him alot.

My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to you Marge and your entire family during these
difficult days.
Lind and I go back about 10 years and had many great fishing and crabbing adventures here in Coos Bay. Lind was one of my best friends and a man's man. He
was the hardest working and most enterprising person I ever knew. His word was his bond and I am proud that he considered me a good friend.
Hang in there Marge and look to the Lord for strength. Your friend always....Roger

Sweetheart, from the day we first met, I knew that you were one I had been looking for all of my life. Every day was an adventure with you by my side. Your love knew no bounds and your smile lit up my heart. As Naomi wrote in our vows... "do you take Dad as your darling husband, partner and friend for the rest of your lives-thru rich and poor, sickness and health, good and bad fishing, good and bad hunting, good and bad mushroom season?" The answer is the same today as it was almost five years ago..."Yes, with all my heart, always and forever."
We miss you so much.

You will truly be missed but never, ever forgotten.

Thank you dad for my childhood and all the wonderful memories that you made for me to carry through my life. I enjoyed fishing with you and catching more fish than you when I was five. I was lucky to have had that special time with just my dad. Thank you for every summer going camping in Barview Oregon. That holds special memories to me. I so enjoyed sledding down the sand dune and walking to the corner store and getting to buy some candy with my brother and sister. Thank you for time that we spent on the farm. That to was a wonderful memory for me as a child getting to know what that was like to own a horse and to dig potatoes out of the garden. Also the memories that I have of living at the beach in Netarts Oregon and going claming and crabbing with you. I have wonderful and special memories of the time I spent with you.You teaching me to drive a truck and saying the I need to be able to drive anything. Just in case I was ever in a situation that I needed to drive myself and all there was, was a truck. I will always love you dad. I will forever keep you in my heart and remember the dad the raised me.
I love you dad!
Your daughter,
Candy
