Obituary of Lind Lee Bell
Lind Lee Bell (64) resident of Fernwood, ID died March 12, 2012 following a courageous one year battle with brain cancer. He was born July 11, 1947 to Harold and Regina (Voit) Carnie at Oakland, CA. He grew up in Portland, OR and graduated from High School there in 1965. He worked up and down the Oregon coast where he sold mushrooms, hunted and sold antlers sheds, sold Levi Jeans commercially and worked in commercial fishing. He owned and operated a construction business where where he worked as a roofer. He also owned King Fishing Lure Co. while in Oregon. Lind moved to Sagle, ID to be near his family. He moved to Usk, WA in 2007. He had three marriages in his life before meeting his soul mate in 2007 at Usk, WA. He and Marge Hassan joined their lives together in a commitment ceremony on May 24, 2008 at Usk, WA They moved to Fernwood, ID in 2010. Lind enjoyed hunting and fishing and collecting wild mushrooms. Lind is survived by his companion Marge at the family home in Fernwood. Also surviving are his son Dean Bell of Richland, WA and step-son Jim Hassan of Redwood City , CA. He is also survived by daughters Carleen Bell of Seattle and Candy and husband Tom Richardson of Tri-Cities, WA Step-daughters Naomi Breeden of Phillip S.D., and Elizabeth Hassan of Elk, WA. As well as 9 grandchildren , one great grandchild and his black lab Emily. At his request, no services will be held.
