Oliver Guy Lohman posted a condolence

My name is Oliver Guy Lohman. I’m 16 and I’m one of Wilfred Ducommun’s great grand children. My grand mother, Joclyen Ducommun, told me that when I visited Wilfred, I would run to his large clock when it sounded. It would make the sound of a steam locomotive ,and me being into the railroad, I would sit in front of it. God bless the Ducommun family.

My earliest memories include Uncle Wilfred when my family returned "home" to visit my mother's relatives in Idaho. His loving ways as well as his good sense of humor made being around him fun.
Most recently, his last trip to Iowa to visit my mom on the occasion of her 90th birthday was special in every way. We did our best to "shower" him with love and attention, and he was genuinely happy to be with his favorite sister and her family.
We are happy for all of the good memories that we have of times together over the years. Goodbye Uncle Wilfred....it won't be long before we see you again!
Lovling,
Janet
