few people touch our lives in the way that you have. Thanks for helping us form both of our boys work ethic as they grew up at harvest foods. I know that both Casey and Jason learned so much from you. One of them refered to you as "that crazy funny checker, you know that nice one" until they started working there and got to know you...then they refered to you as "Kathy, the crazy, funny, nice one"... Your caring and kindness, along with your amazing sense of humor will never be forgotten. Thanks for always looking out for me...all those reminders of the store Christmas parties...just for the record (and you now already know this) Mike loved joking with you...he did tell me about the party every year. I loved that you always made sure I knew after he told you he was not inviting me. I have so many great memories... I loved sharing Grandma stories with you...some day we can laugh again. Rest in Peace my friend.

In gradeschool, Kathy could make even the most pesimistic of nuns simply crack up laughing. In junior high, she kept us on an even keel when controversial fads entered the beginning of our teen years. Her smile and humor in high school, combined with her charmful wit reminded us to just be ourselves, helping many stay true to core values. If laughter is the best medicine, you sure could get the job done in a hurry. Thank-you so much for being a friend to so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with Billy and your family, plus Lynn, Jack, Tim and theirs also. Even a serious place like Heaven needs angels who have wonderful smiles.

A beautiful garden now stands alone,
missing the one who nurtured it.
But now she is gone,
Her flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines,
But the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind,
The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away,
But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay,
she loved every flower even some that were weeds,
So much love she would plant with each little seed,
But just like her flowers she was part of Gods plan,
So when it was her time he reached down his hand,
He looked through the Garden searching for the best,
That's when he found Kathy, it was her time to rest,
It was hard for those who loved her, to just let her go,
But God had a spot in his garden, that needed a gentle soul,
So when you start missing Kathy, remember if you just wait,
When God has a spot in his garden, She'll meet you at the gate....

SHE LEFT ME
she left me with the sun
not to mention without a goodbye
it was shyly
with the morning light
I know now, that I knew would understand.
She went without warning
I could not accompany
on her appointment with the dark
I do not know if she miss me
if in the end she remember me
I just know that she is gone,
left as normal
One morning
so fleeting that I could not forgive.
She looked at me and smiled
How was I to know
maybe her smile was a goodbye.
it was so natural
like the sea as the river goes
went from here to eternity.
I do not know if she miss me
if in the end she remember me
I just know that is no longer with us and what is worse ... she will not come back.
Miss you so much Kathy!!

My dear friend and co-worker for so many years. I have so many good memories of the years we worked together at H.F. .
The day you were locked in the freezer for 20-30 minutes..no one could find you. Then when Chester finally rescued you. Your long black eye lashes were covered with frost and stuck together...what a trooper,Chester tried to get you to go home for the day and warm up and rest and you said no way,,,I still have a pallat of ice cream to put out. All the many many loaves of Banana bread you made. The special loaves you always made for Juline & I. Heaven for sure is now rejoicing with your presence. As we look up at the stars at night we will now see one shining way brighter and will know for sure you are looking down on all your family & friends.

Kathy will be missed by every one. She was such a light in our lives. She always had a greeting and a kind word for everyone. For the 13 years we were on the road she would never fail to ask each and every time we came into the store "so, are ya home for a few days?" May the good Lord bless you and keep you, Kathy.
Our hearts go out to Billy, B.J., Nicole and family.
Love, Bob and Sheila Kendall
