Frank,
You were cut from old cloth and were always an inspiration to me. I enjoyed cowboying with you at the Double Diamond and the Rocking Chair. You taught me a lot and we always had a good time! I still think of you every time I go by your old house in Crowheart. I wish you were still here in Fremont County living the life you loved, but I guess you had to go feed some bulls! I hope you're riding your old roan horse, Diamond!
You will be missed!
Your friend,
Bob

My dear Uncle Frank, there are so many things I did not know about you. I regret not taking the time to know you better. Growing up, you were my favorite Uncle. Mostly because you always had time to tell a good story, teach a city girl how to ride and dance, and just generally having a good time anywhere you were, including all us kids in it. I asked Grandma one time where you got all those stories. She said,"You know, even when he was real little, he'd come in and say,'Mom, I got somthin ta tell ya...' and he'd start right in." I guess you just made them up as you went along.
Love you Uncle Frank.

Dear Uncle Frank, you will be dearly missed. Whenever we think of cowboys you come to mind. Your patience while training the wild broncs, down to the miniature donkeys, was such an admirable trait. You were an example to those around you in so many ways. We love you.
