When I found this, I am heartbroken, I had never had the chance to meet him in person but spoke to him over the phone at great lengths while he was in Louisville, Ky. He was getting ready for his trip to Africa. We had set a dinner date with him to meet in person and I had to cancel, had a work related emergency and had to cancel out dinner plans with him. I never got the chance to speak to him again, I tried numerous times calling him, I left messages and sent a few letters but never heard back, always wondered what happened with that wonderful young man who would call me quit often, he’d tell me about his life in Louisville and things he had hoped to do with his life. I know this is late coming but I just found it. Sat. Oct. 22, 2022. It truly breaks my heart.

Will--I love you so much and have so many wonderful memories of you. Thank you for teaching me how to fish, introducing me to Johnny Cash ;), and showing me how to appreciate the beauty and wonder of nature. My nephew, I am so glad we found you and got to know you and love you. you taught evryone of us something different that we will never forget, In the short time yu were here you impacted many lives especilly with the kids. I love you Will I am glad now you will finally meet your great grandma.

William, you here here for such a short time in life, and leaving us has left us with a hole in our hearts. In the short time that you knew us, we are proud that your great soul is part of our family. When we went to a powwow together, you were loved as much as you loved others. We love you and if your Great Grandmother was still alive, she would have been thrilled to have you as a member of the family; I'm sure she will tell you that when she meets you in heaven.

While I didn't get a chance to know you well, I wish I had a better opportunity. It's a great loss for the world to lose you, as you possessed a kindness that that is much needed today. Will, my cousin by relation and my nephew by tradition, I am truly saddened by your passing. Not only for the loss of you in my life, but for the world's loss of a wonderful and kind-hearted person.
